Hodges Family

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. My Mom and Dad, Edna and Norman, always enjoyed the visits from your Dad out to their home in Great Bridge. Mom is still at home, but not able to get out as much as she would like and sends her condolences. My Dad's mother, Virginia Blassingham Hodges and Barry's mother, Fannie were first cousins and I remember our visits to Portlock back in the 50's and 60's to visit on Sunday afternoons. I enjoyed getting to talk with your Dad on his last visits out to Great Bridge when my Dad was living and the last time he came out to visit Mom. Always a gentleman with a good story to tell. My Dad was an only child and he always enjoyed Cousin Barry and sharing stories of growing up in South Norfolk. I was down with the flu the day of your Dad's funeral, but you all have been in my prayers. Sincerely, Buck Hodges
