Barry McAlpine Herbert
Barry M. Herbert, Jr, 93, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family in Pensacola, FL. He was a former long-term resident of Chesapeake, VA, a WWII Army veteran and a retired U.S. Postal Worker.
He is preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Ruth Herbert; parents Barry and Fannie Herbert; sisters Edith Rawls and Faye Drinkard.

He is survived by his current wife, Joan Herbert; daughter, Gayle (Irv) Clifton; his son, Barry M. Herbert III; granddaughters Brittany Hilborn and Christina Herbert; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday January 25, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. with the funeral service starting at 2:30 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake, VA. Interment and military honors will follow the service at Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, VA.
