Condolence: To Shorty's family,

My wife,Wynette,and I were sad to read in the Virginian-Pilot about Shorty's passing. I remember when Shorty and my brother, Albert played baseball at Cascade Park. I watched them often and enjoyed the games. Albert now lives in Scottsdale, AZ and I have let him know about Shorty. We extend our deepest sympathy to all of you.

Condolence: To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort Jehovah God gives at John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a "resurrection" back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, "The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." While we await that wonderful time please find comfort in these promises.

He was always so willing to lend a helping hand to our grandparents. (Mr.& Mrs. Clark) whenever they needed him. We will sure miss seeing him at the Clark family re-unions.
