My Father
A man I called "father." He was strong and loving to everyone. He had a heart of gold. If he was still here he would help the best he could. One day he was here, the next he was gone. All the things I wish I had said and could say to him, I can't, but only through prayer. He is not feeling anymore pain now. He is whole again. I look up at the stars knowing he is looking down on me and the family. And when the sun rises I still know he is watching out for all of us. As the holidays roll around, we think about him and we look up towards the sky wishing he was with us. But we know the Lord is taking care of him. In my heart of hearts l miss him so much. My Daddy was my hero and always will be no matter what. One day he and I will meet again in heaven when the Lord calls for me.
I love you, Daddy.
