Dr. Glenn McDermott

Amy’s Poem Amy you did it, lived a life complete. Took a wonderful journey with Major, in all, quite a feat. What else can we ask for? A family and a long life. You can now continue on, without pain or strife For you are surely in heaven. We all know it for sure. God gave you an express pass, for a heart that was so pure. So now you and Major can continue on, together once again. This time you will enjoy it more, with memories of where you’ve been. So how does it look? Looking down on us. Pretty sad sight we are, our hope is in God we trust. So we’ll catch up to you later on, and pay our dues on earth. ‘Cause after you’re gone, it’s all the good you did, that determines your net worth. So we never really say goodbye, can you separate the soul from the heart? We are all on the road to the same destination, only Amy had a head start. Everyone deserves their own poem. This is Amy’s.
