Condolence: Amy’s Poem

Amy you did it, lived a life complete. Took a wonderful journey with Major, in all, quite a feat.

What else can we ask for? A family and a long life. You can now continue on, without pain or strife

For you are surely in heaven. We all know it for sure. God gave you an express pass, for a heart that was so pure.

So now you and Major can continue on, together once again. This time you will enjoy it more, with memories of where you’ve been.

So how does it look? Looking down on us. Pretty sad sight we are, our hope is in God we trust.

So we’ll catch up to you later on, and pay our dues on earth. ‘Cause after you’re gone, it’s all the good you did, that determines your net worth.

So we never really say goodbye, can you separate the soul from the heart? We are all on the road to the same destination, only Amy had a head start.

Everyone deserves their own poem.
This is Amy’s.

Condolence: Trip, Kane, and your families, We are saddened at your Mother's death. Though we never met Mrs. Swindell, we felt closer to her through Trip's posts; we rejoiced with you each time she had a good report and felt concerned and worried with each bad one. Keep her in your hearts - remembering the wonderful times and all the love she so clearly has for you all. If we can help in any way, please let us know!

Condolence: Trip, Kane and Barbara,

I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. It is never an easy thing but knowing that you and Kane cared for her so lovingly and spent her last days with her will bring you comfort. Even though it was hard sometimes I know it meant the world to her knowing you all were there. Remember the good and the bad without remorse and know these are memories you will treasure forever.

She was blessed to have such wonderful loving children. It is her testament of love and devotion to her children and family.

I will keep you all in my prayers. Prayers for peace and comfort knowing she is no longer in pain and free to be whole once again.

Condolence: Trip, my heart mourns with you and the family for the loss of your mom. Please allow me to say prayers for her soul to be in heaven and peace for you all.
Sending you love.

O God, who hast commanded us to honor our father and our mother; in Thy mercy have pity on the soul of Trip's mother, and forgive her her trespasses; and make Trip to see her again in the joy of everlasting brightness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto Amy Swindell, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Condolence: Dear Trip, Kane, and the family...my deepest, heartfelt sympathies go out to you all. While I never met Amy, I have enjoyed reading about her through Trip's Facebook posts, and have felt a bond with her by way of my own Mother's relationship to the Swindell family (Mom's maiden name was Hope King, she loved riding the train and how she met Trip and Kane)and by meeting her wonderful son and son in-law. I have wished many times I lived closer in order to know you all better but time never allowed. Please know in my heart I share your grief and am here for support at any time.
