MeMa Vaughan was such a beautiful example of what a Christian woman should be: prayerful, kind, and compassionate. Many years ago (Gary was probably around 14) the youth group planned a potluck supper. Gary said he would get his mom to make fried chicken because she was the best cook in town. Years later, Leroy often talked about stopping by mama's for a quick sandwich etc. All of her children spoke highly of her and even if you weren't one of hers-she certainly made you feel like it. Erwin, Barbara, Gary, and family please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I was blessed to have known her. I am sure she heard "well done thy good and faithful servant" as she entered the gates of heaven.
