Obituary for Nell Marie Gray
Nell Marie Gray, 78, passed away September 30, 2017. Nell was born in Roxboro, NC to the late Harmon and Verona Young Clark. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son-in-law, John Mahon and granddaughter, Breanne. She retired as a bookkeeper with Anchor Vending and USIS. Nell was a member of the Niners Senior Citizens, Lunch Bunch, Red Hat Society and the Ladies’ Oriental Shrine, Zulekia Court #35.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 62 years, Bill Gray; son, Steve Gray (Joy); daughter, Jean Mahon; grandchildren, Stephanie (Elvis), Cathy (Henry), Hans (Kelly), Bud (Kat), Kirsten, Trevor (Colleen), Jordan (Kyle) and Bryan; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Dylan, Neil, Arianna, Gwen, Molly, Zoey, Makayla and Kara; sisters, Shirley Daugherty (Al) and Anita Swoope; her brother, Medley Clark (Connie); lots of nieces, nephews and tons of friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 4 -5 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake.
