Obituary for Lillian Parrish Aycock Mason
Lillian Parrish Aycock Mason, 92, passed away in Arkansas February 25, 2017. Lillian was born in Sanford NC to the late Henry and Ruth Stancil Parrish and was the loving wife of the late Murdock L. Mason. She retired with J.C. Penny and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lillie Dvorak (Phillip), Joyce Gettier and Iris McMain-Ferguson; sons, Simon Aycock and David M. Mason (June); 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11 am at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 717 Whitehurst Landing Rd, Virginia Beach with Dr. James Baker officiating. She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. Memorial contributions may be made to Tabernacle Church Missions.
