Ethel Stevens Womble
Beloved mother and grandmother, Ethel passed away with her family by her side on January 19, 2017. She was born November 28, 1921 in Raleigh, North Carolina to the late Charles David Stevens and Annie King Stevens. She retired after almost 30 years of employment from Sentara Leigh Hospital in January 1990. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill; brother, Alec Stevens; and sister, Gladys Link.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Margaret French (David); grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew French; sister, Rebecca White; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Graham Funeral Home on Tuesday January 24, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetary in Raleigh, NC on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. Please visit her book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to leave a note to the family.
