Huylen Elwood  Martin
Huylen Elwood Martin, 88, passed away January 8, 2017. Huylen was born to the late Waskie and Virginia Cummings Martin and was the loving husband of the late Evelyn Johnson Martin. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of WWII; he later retired as a Communications Supervisor with Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Left to cherish his memory is his sons, Fred Lee Martin (Sharman) and Ronald K. Martin (Nancy); grandchildren, Sara Martin, Jennifer Walker, Emily MacMartin and Katy Martin; and great-grandchildren, Connor and Cason Martin.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 10 to 12 noon. To honor his military service the United States Navy will render honors at noon. His final resting place will be Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery.
