CHESAPEAKE- Elizabeth Teresa Williamson, 59, went to be with the Lord, September 26, 2016. She was born in Pitt Co., Greenville, NC to the late Joseph and Nellie Davenport Williamson. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her nephew, Josiah Benjamin Simpson. Teresa was a caring, intelligent woman who always put the needs of others before herself. For 10 years she worked with Delta Career Education Corporation as the VP of Regulatory Compliance and was currently the Corporate Director of Financial Aid for Valley College, WV. Teresa had an eye for fashion, could always stretch a dollar and enjoyed giving. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Brenda Joyce Williamson, James Michael Williamson (Cathy), John Wyatt Williamson (Sharon) and Dawn Christina Williamson Simpson (Jonathan); nieces, Briana, Erica, Hannah and Sarah; nephews, Chad, Timmy, Micah and Elijah and numerous other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 6-7:30 pm at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11 am at Graham Funeral Home with Rev. James Michael Williamson officiating. A reception will immediately follow. Graveside Services will be at 2:30 pm at Moyock Memorial Cemetery, Moyock, NC.
