I always loved hanging out with Gary.  We went to high school together and went to UVa together.  In high school remembering him driving me around in his MG Midget. ice skating, playing soccer on the high school team together,,, jumping off the "Big Mo" into the water far below. Tobagoning in the moonlight  I think it was called Pill Hill.  We were roomates freshman year at UVa.  We both pursued a BS in Nuclear Engineering.  We both pursued NROTC.  I dropped it after 3 years, Gary continued.  He was a fun person as a kid and throughout school !  I've always missed him, now he's gone, but the memories are inspiring.
