CHESAPEAKE- Cynthia Lou Foster, 55, passed away too soon on January 30, 2016. She was born in Portsmouth, VA to the late Franklin D. Thurbon and Dorothy L. Vaughn. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her 2nd husband, Lawrence W. Foster and daughter, Theresa Jane Shaffor. Cynthia was a graduate of Mansfield School of Business in Accounting. She was always smiling and had a strong love and bond for her Chihuahua, Cocoa, that was her world.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kristy Gallo & her husband, Doug of Forbes Road, PA and Melissa Boehm & her husband, William of Blairsville, PA; grandchildren, Anthony Hobbs, Jennifer Hobbs, Elizabeth Hobbs, William Boehm, Jr. and Joseph Boehm; aunt, Margaret Bonesteel & her husband, Jim; niece, Jasmine Arjoon; nephews, Jake and John Lohr, all of Florida; boyfriend of 14 years, Paul LeColst of Chesapeake, VA and best friend, Lora Whitehead Smith of Portsmouth, VA, both whom loved her very much; 1st husband, Dennis E. Shaffor of Shelocta, PA; many aunts, uncles and cousins throughout West Virginia and Maryland and numerous other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. Please take the time to leave a note to the family.
