Graham Funeral Home

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Virgie Grubb can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Thousands of baby caps

Virgie was an active member of the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center's "Special Projects" volunteers for over 20 years.  She crocheted thousands of baby caps in pink, blue and white over the years - coming in to deliver them - usually 50 at a time at least once a month.  Virgie and her friend Mary Louise had a friendly "contest" each year to see who could do more!  I will miss Virgie and her cheerful attitude here in the office and at our annual luncheon.  In later years Kevin would come by with her caps and pick up yarn for more!  To her family - she was a blessing to our baby caps program and will be greatly missed.
