Horace Daly Crawford , 88, passed away September 27, 2015. Horace was born in Gastonia, NC to the late Hugh and Edna Ross Crawford. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean conflict. After his time in the Navy, he retired as a lithographic printer with the United States Geological Survey.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Alma Cox Crawford; daughter, Courtney E. Crawford; step-son, Walter C. Johnson; sisters, Joan Byrd and Edna Ballard.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake with military honors. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. A reception will be held at the funeral home following the service. Burial will be private at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
