Denise and Lucky had a small house near oceanview when I was a small child.   They would have parties on the weekends and get rid of us kids by sending us crabbing with chicken legs on ropes and I think pillow cases? for the crabs.  We would come back from crabbing and sit out on the picnic tables and pic crabs.  We were supposed to be picking for everyone but we never did. We just ate crab till we couldn't eat crab anymore.   Denise had a knack of wearing out us kids so we would pass out early and the adults could move outside to the yard to enjoy the evening.  Never a dull moment.
