Joyce Marie  McDonald
Joyce Marie McDonald, 75, formerly of Rand Court, passed away July 20, 2015. Joyce was born in Binghamton, New York to the late Edward and Berna Vergason Spafard. She was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church, the Naomi Sunday School Class. Joyce retired as a property manager for Newpoint Condominiums.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Anastasia M. Samsky; son, Walter J. "Jim" McDonald; a grandson, Nicholas C. Vandeloecht; sister, Donna M. Sorensen; and her brother, Edward C. Spafard.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. She will be laid to rest at Knox Cemetery, Windsor, NY. At the request of the family memorial contributions may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215 or joslin.org.
