Obituary for Martha Elizabeth Hanbury
Martha Elizabeth Hanbury, 87, passed away May 26, 2015. Martha was born in Bluefield, West Virginia and was the loving wife of the late Walter Hunter Hanbury. Martha was known as a selfless wife and mother who thought more of her family and friends than of herself, even if her family didn't have it all, they had everything that they needed.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Olivia Kay Belton (Richard); sons, Charles Terry (Melissa) and Bruce E. Hanbury; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, May 29, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
