You’ll always be remembered and missed.

Hey GoGo

You know who this is because I gave you this nickname growing up as I chased you around the house, the yard, the neighborhood and life. It’s still fitting considering you always did things the way you see fit. Not to mention I was so young I still couldn't pronounce Michael or the word spaghetti. I never really cared for the nickname you gave me, "Duanegus"; but it seemed to always make people smile and that’s all that really mattered.

You have a good way of making people smile. Your generosity, your caring heart for the world and everyone close to you. I remember it was not uncommon for you to pass $20.00 to someone in need along the road or the side walk. I witnessed this multiple times. You set a great example for me to follow concerning having compassion for others. You said to me multiple times how lucky we are just to have the ability to help others and how small gestures of kindness can change the world in big ways. You really did change the world in big ways that may not have been seen on headline news or the local papers; but in the world, people who knew you (and didn’t know you) felt your compassion.

The four letter word we pass around so generously you always cherished like gold. You believe in this word like it will fix the world and will make all evil disappear. This word is the essence of everything you believed in and would pass out to whoever was in dire need. Countless times we talked about this word and after many years I finally started to understand. This may be the best gift you ever gave me and to this day I still try my worldly best to live by them. This word is the accumulation of our father. Our spiritual father that only wants us to understand and live by. We laughed at times that we live in the state of Virginia; therefore it must be true. LOL

As your brother and seeing you evolve into a very spiritual person; I took notice to these changes. I know you cheated death many times and suffered worldly pain. Like a trooper; you were so eager to give but never wanted to receive. I don’t know why this is; but I accepted it. I so much wanted to do more for you and actively participate in your life.

I do cherish the times we had and know you were the biggest influence in my life. I learned so much from you, this little blip in time couldn’t demonstrate the life we shared. Unfortunately your father could not wait any longer for your LOVE. I still think it was too soon but IM not here to make those decisions. I can only accept this part of life, learn and LOVE.

You’ll always be remembered and missed.
