Obituary for Frances G. Burke

Frances Gregory Burke, 77, passed away April 15, 2015. Frances was born in Norfolk County to the late, Hulla Sivels Gregory and George A. Gregory, Sr. and was the loving wife of the late John Alexander Burke. She is a member of Maude Armstrong Star #90; Centerville A.M. E. Church; and had retired as a bus driver with Chesapeake Public Schools.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sheila A. Rouse and Teresa A. Burke; her son, Jefferson L. Burke; grandchildren, Jeff and Danair Burke, and Shaquana Shaw; sister, Delsie Reddick, Ann Lindsey and Sincereal Farrell;and brother, George A. Gregory, Jr.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 11:00 am at New Weeping Mary Missionary Church, 1104 Fentress Road, Chesapeake with Rev. David Holliday and Pastor John C. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home,1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
