Mary Jacobs Costigan Peckham, 70, of Hamill Lane passed away March 13, 2015. Mary was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late, Robert E. and Araminta B. Jacobs. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Robert A. Jacobs. She was a Human Resource Generalist for several local hospitals retiring from Portsmouth General Hospital; she also attended St. Stephen Martyr Roman Catholic Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Easton F. Peckham; her daughter, Cara Costigan; step-daughter, Karen L. Hartig and her husband, Patrick; her grandchildren, Noah and Camden Hartig; sister-in-law, Rocklyn Jacobs; niece, Rochelle Grieco and her husband, Jason, and their children, Raylee and Maia Grieco; her canine companions, Davy and Gizmo; and gran-dogs, Bruzer and MiMi.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 17, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake with the service to begin at 7 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. At the request of the family in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
