James Lawrence Baril, 65, passed away on January 23, 2015. James was born in Norfolk to Ramona Carr Parrish and the late Raymond Baril and was the loving husband of 40 years to Barbara L Baril. Jimmy, had an affection for the Dallas Cowboys, keeping up with current events, and watching "Classic T.V. Series", but most importantly, he was a fun-loving person who loved spending time with his family and friends. He also had a love for music. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving during Vietnam, and a Roman Catholic. He previously worked for the Norfolk and Southern Railroad.
Besides his wife, left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Andrea R. Baril (David); sons, Benjamin K. Baril (Anna) and Michael R. Baril (Danielle); 5 grandchildren; mother and brother, Raymond P. Baril.
Catholic prayers will be offered Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, VA. with Rev. Father Joseph M. Adams, O.S.B. officiating. Military Honors will be accorded following the service. He will be laid to rest at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA. at a later date.
