Dorothy Mae Moore
Dorothy "Dot" Tatem Moore went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband of 72 years, John Moore on Tuesday. She was born April 14, 1925 in Norfolk to the late, John E. and Mamie Tatem. Dot worked in the Catalog and Cashiers Department at Sears Roebuck and Co. before becoming a full time homemaker.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Dottie (Lloyd) Beazley, Kathy (Richard) Amos, Jonnie Kay (Mike) Fabijan; grandchildren, Stephen Gay, Rick Amos, Allen (Cristie) Fabijan, Jada (Kevin) Box; great grandchildren, Sean (Meg) Salmon, Mariah Gay, Payton and Nathan Amos, Alliyah and John Fabijan, Katie and Taylor Box; step-great grandaughter, Jamie Ellis; siblings, Kathleen Warren and John (Cathy) Tatem; special caregivers, Julie, Sandra, and Wendy, and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake with Pastor Don Phelps officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-7:30 pm. Please visit her book of memories to view the service if unable to attend and to leave a note to the family.
