Obituary for Mary Ellen Foster

Mary Ellen Foster, 78, passed away January 16, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, left to cherish her memory is her husband of 59 years, Arthur V. Foster; her three sons, Dale Foster (Mary), Joe Foster (Cheryl) and Dean Foster; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Brandes (Raeane); Mary had many close friends including, Ann Galano of 60 years, Judy Terry of 42 years, Pat Gregory, Glenda Mullen and her beloved dog, Buddy; Mary will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake followed by a service to celebrate her life at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest on Tuesday in a private service at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.
