Robert "Bobby" Jonathan  Zortman
CHESAPEAKE- Robert “Bobby” Jonathan Zortman, 21, passed away too soon, November 7, 2014. He worked at Geico Insurance Company as a customer service representative and was also a server at Smokey Bones in Virginia Beach. Bobby was a 2011 Graduate of Grassfield High School where he enjoyed playing soccer and he also played soccer with Chesapeake United.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Karen A. Cahoon and her fiancé, Patrick Hill; father, John J. Zortman; his sisters, Christonie Z. Smith and Whitney Z. Spratley; brother, Kendall D. Zortman; maternal grandfather, Robert J. Pillar, III; paternal grandmother, Vickie Zortman; uncles, William M. Pillar, Kevin G. Cahoon, Jr. and Richard Zortman; aunts, Theresa Fortner, Toni Parrish, Tina Zortman and Tracy Swinehart; special K-9 companions, Lillie and Duke and numerous other family and friends. Bobby also had a great love for his late grandmother, Sandy Pillar.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Wedsnesday, November 12, 2014 at 11am at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Burial will follow at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-7pm.
