Obituary for Lloyd Mitchell Rawles, Sr.
NORTH CAROLINA- Lloyd M. Rawles, Sr., 81, passed away October 13, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Edgar and Hazel Rawles. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife, Beatrice E. Rawles and son, Lonnie Rawles. Lloyd was a loving husband and father who enjoyed fishing whose family meant the world to him.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Lloyd Rawles, Jr., Larry Rawles, Leon Rawles, Lynn Rawles, Robin Bowen, Lesley Rawles, Tina Wright, Lance Rawles and Rachel Rawles; 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 12pm at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6-7:30pm. Please visit his Book of Memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com where you may view the service if unable to attend or leave a note to the family.
