William D. Quinn, Jr., 82, went home to be with the Lord, June 23, 2014. He was born in Clinton, North Carolina to the late Callie P. and William D. Quinn, Sr. He was predeceased by his loving wife Doris E. Quinn. He attended Bethel Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Norma Mekler (Sheldon) and Cindy Chappell (Max); grandchildren, Terry, Robert, and Billy Hooks and Owen Chappell; great-grandchildren, Justin, Megan, Jenna, Courtney, Sarah; great-great grandchild, Kyleigh; sisters, Frances Sutton, Marie Butler (Bobby), and Shelva Warren (Ronnie); brothers, Sam Quinn (Gurley) and Timmie Quinn (Delores); sister-in-law, Jeanette Hudgins (and family) and loving, special K-9 companions, Kasi, Augie, and Chessie.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Piland officiating. He will be laid to rest at Rosewood Memorial Park.
