Cora Lee Shaw Bland, 90, went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2014. She was born in Martin County, North Carolina to the late Lewis Edward Shaw and Effie Parker Hoell Shaw and was the loving wife to the late Lester Bland.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Peggy Litchfield (Bob), Brenda Shumate (Frankie), Gail Boyle (Joseph); two sons, Lester Bland (Monica), Gordon Ray Bland (Candi); eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews .

A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 , at 12 noon at Graham Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Coltrain officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
