I can remember long ago when I first met Arturo, I went to morning Mass at St. James when my children were still very little. He was standing outside after Mass shivering, it was only the 1st or 2nd day in October,he had a stocking cap, gloves and a heavy coat on, and I asked him are you cold??? He said yes,it's not like where I came from in the Philippines, very chilly here. I told him, wait a few months you haven't seen the worst of it yet. Apparently he remembered because another morning it was snowing like crazy out after Mass and I gave him a ride home, the boys were with me before they went to school. When we got to Ronnie & Grace's home, the kids got out of the car and Arturo hid on the other side and started throwing snowballs at me, and I thought of the first time I asked him, Are you Cold? Well I sure was then.. Thanks for the memories Papa.
