Obituary for Eunice Quintana

VIRGINIA BEACH: Eunice Quintana, 52, formerly of Bay Point Drive, passed away on Tuesday after a long illness. A native of Havana, Cuba, she was the daughter of Eugenia Quintana of Aventura, FL and the late Eleazar Quintana. A former Spanish teacher at Norfolk State University, she along with her husband, owned and operated Compu-Link, with stores in Newport News, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, before moving to Florida in 2003.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Jay Dixson of Aventura, FL; a daughter, Erin Smiley of Sunnyside, NY and her father, Thomas Smiley of Cherry Hill, NJ; a step-daughter, Nicole Dixson of Trenton, FL; a sister, Elizabeth Incze and her husband, Thomas, of Charlotte, NC; three uncles, Martin, Jaime, and Antonio Moriyon; two nieces, Amelia and Abigail Incze; and four nephews, Joseph Incze, and John, Nathan, and Daniel Raderman.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Peoples Baptist Church, 1200 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, with Pastor Michael Wetherington officiating. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday at the church from noon to 1 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3300 E. Sunrise Drive, Tuscon, AZ, 85718.
