CHESAPEAKE—George M. Quinn, 62, of the 500 block of Tennis Drive, died March 25, 2005 in Chesapeake. A native of Utica, NY and a long time resident of Massena, N.Y., he was the son of the late William and Ruth Mills Quinn. Mr. Quinn graduated from Brushton-Moira Central High School in 1961, later served in the U. S Navy and was a retired switch technician at Bell Atlantic Telephone Company, in Massena with 30 years of service. He was currently employed by US LEC of Virginia Beach as a switch technician, and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Chesapeake.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Jolley Quinn; two daughters, Sheri Quinn Pichon and her husband, Gerard and Heather Quinn, all of Chesapeake; a son, Robert Quinn and his wife, Nicole, of Suffolk; a granddaughter, Samantha Quinn; a sister, Nancy Quinn of Moira, NY; and a brother, Bill Quinn of Moira, NY. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Quinn.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Christian Haydinger officiating. Burial will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. A Christian Wake service will be held on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake where the family will receive friends following the service until 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the ComfortCare Hospice Foundation, 667 Kingsborough Square, Suite 201, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
