Condolences

Condolence From: Kathy Bateman
Condolence: I would like to send my condolences to the family and friends of Gail Young Ives. I would also like to thank her family for

Sharing this wonderful person with us at CBN. I was one of her many co-workers at CBN and really thought a lot of Gail. She was a quiet lady and she had a humble spirit about her. Whenever I passed Gail in the hall, she always had a smile on her face. Gail seemed to be a easy going person.

Condolence: I never met your mother, but from her tribute I can see that she was a beautiful, loving person. It is always hard when losing a loved one because we miss them very much. We can be encouraged by reflecting on the promises that God has given us thru his word the Bible, concerning the hope of seeing our loved ones again. Revelation 21:4 promises "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore..." I hope you find comfort in reading the scriptures and also in the loving memory of your mother. My prayers are with your family.

Condolence: I appreciated Gails gentle, quiet spirit, and she had a sense of humour too. Her relationship and marriage to Jim gave me hope for my own life. I pray that God will bless her family and friends with the peace that passes all understanding.

Condolence: Gail was a wonderful example. The Christain love she had in her heart for everyone really shown through for all to see! She always had a smile on her face and a good word for you. I'll never forget the first time I had to work the phones at telethon time for CBN...I was really nervous! I sat next to Gail, who could tell I was pretty scared and she quickly said "Here, let's pray...okay?" She prayed and the fear left me and I instantly knew that God wouldn't give me anything that I could not handle!!
I pray that God comfort you during this time and that He grant you peace that passes all understanding. She will truly be missed.

Condolence:
I only knew Gail briefly. She was kind enough to hire me back in the summer of 98' I was immediately struck by her gentle, and kind manner. I felt comfortable around her. I have since gained a deeper respect and admiration after observing her(from a distance)as she traveled through some very difficult things.

She was definetly a very classy lady with alot of integrity. Like I said, I did'nt really get a chance to know her that well, but what I saw...I liked.

I'm glad I knew you Gail -
Respectfully, Missey Butler

Condolence: Gail and I worked together for many years. We also travled across this country on several trips together. She was and will forever be one of my cherished friends.

Through all the years, this is what I loved about Gail...

When faced with adverisity, she showed mercy.
When faced with sorrow, she showed God's love and comfort...
When faced with a storm, she would always be the first one to look for the rainbow...
When faced with sickness, she believed in miracles...and told us to as well.
When faced with mountains, she saw the other side...and a brighter day.

I marveled at her faith and I want to thank Jesus for putting her in my life... for her having been my friend...

I have talked about the things my friend Gail saw... Now I will tell you what I saw when she smiled... through all the times we have shared...

In that smile, I saw a reflection Of Jesus.
One I shall never forget.
And I know when I cross the chilling tide...
I will see that smile...
And I will know I am home.
She loved God... She loved her Family... and she loved talking about the one who makes all the difference in the world.
Thank you God for lending us Gail. Truly she made such a wonderful difference.

Condolence: I met Gail in 1980 at CBN, she became my supervisor. I saw something in that lady that was different from other woemen I had meet previously. In my spirtual ignorance, I just did not know what it was; but I was so attracted to what she had. As I continued to work under her, my desire to be like her grew. As time passed, and in the Lords time, "I was found" and I received what Gail had "Jesus in her heart". I will always be grateful and so glad to be able to keep the memory of her and for the influence she had in my life. She demonstrated to all Christ love, joy, and hope that was in her.Gail someday I will see you again on that glorious "Resarection Day" when all believers will meet at Jesus feet.
