William  Wall Jr.
William "Bill" Wall, Jr., 83, passed away July 9, 2018. Bill was born in Norfolk to the late Elsie and William Wall, Sr. He was predeceased by his sons, Gary Stephen Wall and Darryl Douglas Wall. Bill was a 1952 graduate of Maury High School and a 1956 graduate of William & Mary (Norfolk)/ODU. Bill worked as a Budget Analyst with the U.S. Navy and was an active member at Avalon Church of Christ where he sang in the choir and occasionally did tenor solos. He was an avid vegetable gardener and was especially proud of his tomatoes. Bill will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 61 years, Janette M. Wall; daughter, Diane Elizabeth Kimmel (Casey); grandson, Stephen Douglas Kimmel; brother, George Wall (JoAnn); and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 6-7:30 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.
