Betty Sue Russell, 78, passed away May 16, 2018 at her home with family by her side. She was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Dean Barker, Sr. Betty is survived by her children, Edna Via, Jackie Grubbs, Rosy Barker and Donald “DB” Barker, Jr; grandchildren, Cheri Holt, Larry Loflin, Michele Eberhard, Greg Goins, Jr., Brad Goins, Mary Ried, Horace Grubbs, III., and Cedric, Kira, and Azrail Barker; and great-granddaughter, Skylar Barker-Ambrose, and a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk.
