Samuel Eugene Edwards, 55, went to be with the Lord May 5, 2018. He was born in Norfolk to Samuel J. and Myrna Daye Edwards. Sam was predeceased by a brother, James Edwards. He was an avid Redskins fan and bowler; Sam was a member at Raleigh Heights Baptist Church, served as a Deacon and was a member of the South Norfolk Moose Lodge #464. He was active in his community and volunteered his time with Oscar Smith Middle School’s wrestling team and the Norfolk Tides Baseball Team.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Samuel and Myrna Edwards; brother, David Edwards; and many extended family members and innumerable friends.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 6 - 7:30 pm at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 3 pm at the funeral home.
