Francis "Frank" Clark  Lucas
Francis “Frank” Clark Lucas, 69, was promoted to Heaven on Good Friday, March 30, 2018. He was born in Norfolk to the late Homer and Anne Hinger Lucas. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Sadler and brother, David Lucas.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Colleen; daughter, Kristen Cooper (Brady); son, Drew Lucas (Shannon); granddaughters, Abby and Gracie Lucas; sisters, Linda Adams (Jake) and Patty Stepherson; brother, Terry Lucas (Sharon); and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to being “Mr. Wonderful” to his beloved bride of 50 years, he was also a proud father, adoring Gramps and a good Samaritan to friends, neighbors, extended family and complete strangers. He will be best remembered for his contagious laugh, friendliness, animated stories and mischievous spirit! Francis was a courageous patriot who proudly served in the United States Air Force as a combat veteran in Vietnam. He most loved his God, family and country.

Visitation will be at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Rd., Chesapeake on Sunday, April 8, from 6-7:30. A service to celebrate his life will be at the funeral home on Monday, April 9, at 12:30. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk.
