Condolence From: Harold Hochstetler
Condolence: Dear Doris, Margaret, Dean and Family,
I was saddened to hear about Mr. Payne's sudden passing. What a genuine, kind and honest Christian man he was. He was a great role model for us all. I was honored to live in the Payne home as a "temporary son" during my term of service in BVS in the early 70's. He was a great mentor and taught me Basic Auto Mechanics 101 to keep my car running. Many more great memories! He will be missed by all who knew him. May God wrap his arms around you all and bring you peace and comfort throughout the coming days.
Lovingly,
Harold

Condolence: To Doris and Margaret and family, Stuart has just told me on Mr. Willie's passing. I am so sorry for your loss but know he will be happy with his Lord and waiting for you in the future. You all had a profound influence on Stuart and his family and I appreciate all the time you spent with them as neighbors and at GBFBC. With Christian love, Mary Doris

Condolence: God just called home one of my mentors. Mr.Payne & I served together for years together on the deacon board@ Great Bridge Freewill Baptist. His steadfastness & genuine love for God was such a blessing to me as I learned the ins & outs of church leadership. He assisted me more than once on good ol’ car problems & even crawled under his house with me to help replace some of his rotten sills. Bro.Willie they don’t make em’ like you anymore. I always enjoyed having a meal in Ms. Doris’ kitchen cause you knew you were going to get something good. Thank you Bro.Willie for carrying the torch!
