Paul Matthew Cross, 82, passed away March 9, 2018. Paul was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Paul and Katherine Barlow Cross. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, June McCullough. He was a graduate of Maury High School and attended the College of William and Mary. Paul proudly served his country for 8 years in the United States Marine Corps Reserves; was a member of the Indian River Masonic Lodge #252 A.F. and A.M.; and a member of the Chesapeake Shrine Club. He loved to fish, ride his John Deere, watch Nascar, golf, and VA Tech football. He had an immense love for his family and his dog, Winston. Paul retired from the Ford Motor Company after 33 years of faithful service.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Gloria E. Cross; children, Realand Cross, Paul "Denny" Cross, Sr. (Melody), and David Cross (Yvonne); grandchildren, Paul Cross, Jr., Breanna and Tara Cross, and Wade Boggess; beloved friends, Mitch and Cindy King; and a host of other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Rd. Chesapeake. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
