James M. Johnson, Sr., 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 23, 2018. Born locally, he was a long time resident of the South Norfolk area where he lived with his wife, Gladys Mae until her passing in 2012. Left to cherish his memory is his son, James M. Johnson, Jr. and his wife Nancy; and a grandson, James Devin “Buck” Johnson.
A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8pm at Graham Funeral Home.
