Larry  Pilkington
Larry Pilkington, 52, affectionately known as “Poppa” was called to his eternal home on February 21, 2018. He was born February 25, 1965 in Portsmouth, Virginia to the late George Sr and Doris Pilkington. Larry was a devoted family man and proud business owner. Larry greeted everyone he met with a smile. He had a deep love and passion for life which was contagious to everyone around him. His sweet demeanor, playful spirit and constant generosity will live on in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Sherrie and their beloved sons; Devon (Taylor) and Jamie (Mary); grandchildren, Penelope and Merrick. Also left to cherish his memory are his siblings, George Jr (Pat), Mary Toney (Norman), Nancy Soles (Gary), David, Susan Ablao (Benji), Dottie Brown (Tony), Roy (Leanne); brother in law, Richard Tally (Kim) and sister in law Melissa Thompson (Gene), 46 nieces and nephews and countless friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 5 p.m. at Bridge Church, 3168 Indian River Road Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
