Joseph Glowaniak, Jr., 78, was born in Kingston, PA to the late Joseph Frank and Bertha Mae Brown Glowaniak. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his 3 sisters. Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a Gunnery Sergeant, and Base Policeman. He retired after 20 years of service. He also retired from Civil Service at Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek. He was a member of the V.F.W. and Portlock United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 59 years, Ada Marie Beals Glowaniak; children, Sublia Weingartner (Mark), Joey Glowaniak (Stephanie), and Dean Glowaniak (Theresa); grandchildren, Dylan, Presley, Tori, and Nick; great-grandchildren, Jace, Aleena, Sophie, and Caiden; brothers, John, Ronnie, and Harry “Bur” (Terry); and a host of other family and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. Please visit his book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to view the service and leave a note to the family.
