Obituary for Kenneth L. Capps Sr.

Kenneth L.  Capps Sr.
Kenneth L. Capps, Sr., 83, passed away January 20, 2018. He was born to Raymond and Julia Liverman Capps. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his siblings and a son, Jeffrey Blake Capps. Kenny was a graduate of Great Bridge High School; he served his country in the United Stated Army. He retired as an Engineer with Norfolk and Western Railroad and was a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Madrin Capps; son, Kenneth Capps, Jr.; grandchildren, Travis Capps and Neil Harris, Sr.; great-grandchildren, Neil Harris, Jr. and Katie Harris; and his sister, Ann Amburn.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Amos Eby officiating.
