Graham Funeral Home

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Zenas Hopkins, Jr. can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Zenas and I grew up together from the age of 7. I lived next door until I was 19 and married. As kids, we worked out on his weight equipment in his garage. Thats how it started, and we have been friends for over 70 years. Zenas (Butch) was an unassuming, nonjudgmental, family oriented, fun loving friend for all those years. I loved him, there was only one Zeke. God rest his sole.

Condolence: Jo, Camy and I want to pass on you and Natalie our heartfelt condolences. Z was a very special friend to Camy and I and he introduced us back in 1983. I enjoyed many great racquetball matches with him and have enjoyed connecting with him occasionally since. Our prayers are with you and Natalie.

Condolence: As I aged, the possibility that H.J. & Z. would precede me never happened. Sadness is all i have, that they and not me have ended. I follow behind as usual, they were full of the spirit of life I admired. I hope their families are buoyed by their great achievements, as I am.

Condolence: Jo, When a person departs from this earth, they never truly leave. They are still alive in our hearts and minds, and through us, they live on. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now. Just remember, Zenas is in the wind that blows the chimes, to make it's music play. Each note says he loves you and thinks of you each day. He waits for you in heaven, but visit you at times, as a tiny little breeze blowing gently on the chimes.
I love you Jo and will always be here for you.
