Everette Neil Wilson, Sr., 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 21, 2017. Everette was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Settle and Virginia Honeycutt Wilson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother. Everette retired as a General Foreman Rigger with Norfolk Naval Shipyard and was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Bonnie Ruth Wilson; his sons, Everette N Wilson, Jr. (Carol) and Curtis L. Wilson; step-children, Mike McCall (Joyce), Teresa McCall Blair (Don), Anna Rowe White (Buddy) and Kathy McCall Delino (Don); 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Esther W. Hucks and brother, Boyd H. Wilson (Alice).

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 10 -11 a.m. A service to celebrate his life will begin at 11 a.m. with Dr. Ken Barnes officiating, followed by a reception at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk at 2:30 p.m. At the request of the family in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Heights Baptist Church.
