Clifton Ronald Davis, Sr., 79, passed away November 5, 2017. Clifton, a longtime resident of Pamlico County, was born in New Bern, North Carolina to the late Theodore and Lula Watson Davis. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Lee Davis and his infant son, Clifton Ronald Davis, Jr. Clifton served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He had a lifelong love of photography and had a long career professionally photographing sporting events, teaching photography, and repairing cameras. He was a member of Doric Masonic Lodge #44, A.F. & A.M. and is a member and Worthy Patron of the Berkley Chapter #52, Order of the Eastern Star.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Rita Davis; children, Carol Riddle (Dr. Donald) and Ronald Davis (Debi); grandchildren, Maggie Riddle, Ronald Davis, Jr., Sierra Davis, Aaron Davis and Andrea Brunni; siblings, William Davis and Dorothy Rothgeb; and a host of other family and friends.
