Sonja Larsen Griffin, 85, passed away in her home October 14, 2017. Sonja was born to the late Jon and Alice Reid Larsen. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husbands, John R. Miceli, Sr. and Patrick Griffin; sons, Bobby and John Miceli, Jr.; sister, Jayne Shattuck; and brother, Robert Larsen. Sonja retired as an Administrator with Verizon.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, David Miceli (Lucy)and Eric Miceli (Rene); grandchildren, Jamie, Alicia, Megan, Amanda, Grace and Sara; numerous great-grandchildren; and her brothers, George Larsen (Marlene), Larry Larsen (Laurel) and Jon Larsen (Debi).
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2017 at 10 am at the funeral home.
