Robert Lee White, 80, passed away October 6, 2017 after a long illness. He was born in Athens, Ohio to the late Carl and Lulu Bartlett White and was the loving husband of the late Helen Pierce White. Robert retired from the United States Coast Guard and served during Vietnam. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #795. Robert loved to fish, play Bingo, and spend time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Linda Handley (Bob), Patty Collins (Raymond), and Tracy Baker; grandchildren, Kim and Bobby Handley and Ray and Pam Collins; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Courtney Toy; great-great granddaughter, Aubrey Fields; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk.
