Condolence: Dear Channell Family: We are so sorry for the loss of your dad. He coached my brother, Ricky, in baseball back in the 60s. My parents, Eddie and Shirley Smith, loved him and Doris. I never remember seeing Mr. Channell without a smile on his face. He was a wonderful testimony to his faith. May God comfort you all during this most difficult time of grief.

Condolence: Ken was an inspiration to everyone that met and/or knew him. His faith was unshakable and he demonstrated that in every aspect of his life. I always said about Ken "what you see is what you get". No fancy airs, pretentious or anything fake. He was The Real Thing. I know he and Doris will be singing in that heavenly choir and we will see them someday. He will be sorely missed by those of us Left Behind.

Condolence: Ken was an inspiration to me and my family. I will never forget his love of God and his desire to bring people to the Lord through song. He lit up the room when he walked in. My condolences to the family and friends. "May tender memories soften your grief, May fond recollection bring you relief, And may you find comfort and peace in the thought Of the joy that knowing your loved one brought... For time and space can never divide Or keep your loved one from your side. When memory paints in colors true, the happy hours that belonged to you." --Helen Steiner Rice

Condolence From: Dwayne & Martha Dunn
Condolence: Ken was responsible for introducing Dwayne to the Londonaires 35 years ago. It was through Dwayne singing with them that we met each other. I used to joke Ken all the time and tell him that I have him to blame for us getting married. He was a great man and so supportive of "The Dunns". We appreciate all he did to promote our group and learned so much from his words of southern gospel wisdom he would share with us. Our area lost a great legend this week but rejoice in knowing that he now gets to sing those songs about our Lord in His presence. I'm confident that Kens harvest is plentiful today! Praying for his family during this difficult time.
