Everett Cleveland Salter, 95, passed away September 30, 2017. Everett was born in Atlantic, North Carolina to Colon and Mabel Mason Salter and was the loving husband to the late Norma C. Salter. He served in the United States Navy during World War 2 and retired as a Mechanic after 34 years with the Texas Oil Company.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, William Salter (Ann); grandchildren, Amanda Phillip (Michael) and Christopher Salter; great grandchildren, Mary Catherine Salter and Andrew, Simon, and Peter Phillip; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 6- 7:30 p.m. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach.
